In writing to the Romans, Paul spoke to vital issues of misunderstanding in the fellowship. This suggests that it, too, was Pauline. In Romans, however, Paul introduced himself to gain support for a mission to Spain (Rom 15:24). His advice regarding the problems comes from a “softer voice” than Colossians.
